How To Train Your Dragon -- RECOMMENDED

As if we didn’t have enough 3D movies already this year with Avatar and Alice in Wonderland, along comes How To Train Your Dragon. For all those expecting an awesome movie filled with unexpected laughter this is your movie. The movie takes you into the world of Hiccup a Viking child who as the name implies always finds a way to screw things up. Yet one night during a dragon attack that all changes when he manages to catch one of the dragons in his trap.
Aside from the cheesy love story line and the misunderstanding between the two sides this movie does great in throwing curveballs in what you would expect from an animated movie. Besides having America Ferrera as Hiccup’s love interest Astrid and Gerard Butler as Hiccup’s rough and tough dad is there a better combo? Aside from the price for borrowing the 3D glasses this movie is worth its price in admission.
On a side note don’t attempt to buy the video game that is tied into this movie. It is often the case that the video game has nothing to do with the movie.
