State of My Fantasy Teams

It's a couple of months into the 2k6 baseball season and my teams are... shall we say... underachieving. I cut down the number of teams i had this year because I wanted to achieve only one goal: Bash Alex, no excuses, period. I wont bore you with the details of taunting, trashtalking, bargaining and basic daydreaming of how much i could brag when i won, but anyway right now at least my teams are SUCKing.

I'm 6 out of 8 in one league trailing Alex (in 3rd) by 7 games and 8th out of 12 in the other, waYYYYYYYYY behind the leader but thankfully many games in front of the last place Alex. Whats worse, I'm getting raped up the ass this week ready to fall further down the standings. i know the season's long and whatnot but this is not a good direction to be heading in so i did some overhauling. Hmm come to think of it this is prob part of why i started this blog, keep track of my moves and do some thinking. ok so heres what i did for both teams:

team 1 ThreeYearPlan:

offense doing ok except this week, did some minor tweaking. added 1b richie sexson for florida catcher josh willingham for some extra pop. dont really get y the guy would drop sexson despite some serious early season struggles, but he seems to be turning his powerstuff around so i thought y not.

way too many pitchers on dl so i basically changed my pitching staff, tho mostly with scrubs. Added suppan from the cards and dropped the bum davies who got a broken body part. suppan's era is close to like 5 and ks arent too good but i figured he was on the cards and with their crazy offense he cant not win. ehhh what do i have to lose, the alternative is nothing.

got joe francis from colorado for jason johnson of detroit. jason johnson is like uhhh i have no idea which is bad, and francis who's got a good era and k even tho he pitches in a crazy hitters park. hope hes not a fluke, oh well. finally i got chan ho park pitching for SD and dumped jason marquis who also plays on cards. this is prob a long term strategy since park plays in a shit ass division and a black hole ball park.
